Crime & Mayhem In The Catskills:
Under the state law sex offenders are required to register certain information such as where they live and what internet accounts they possess to law enforcement. During the two week long operation Liberty Police Officers visited and interviewed every registered sex offender that resides within the Village of Liberty. Those who were not in compliance with the New York State Sex Offender Registration Act, or found to be violating other laws, or conditions of parole were arrested.
