Resnick of The Sullivan Hotel and Bernie's Restaurant, and Amy Goodstein of Catskill Valley Homes know the clock ticking and Election Day will be quickly upon us. They know that Novenber 5th is the day New York State voters will decide if class three gaming facilities will be approved in areas such as Sullivan County. They also know that something must be done to rally the public to support the referendum.

Everywhere in Roscoe you see pictures of trout. There are trout on the town's billboard greeting, trout hanging from lamppost flags and trout on the walls in so many stores, you'd think they were fish markets rather than their actual business interest. Even the local pizzeria/restaurant (Raimondos) has a three by four feet illustrated troutish map showing the course of the Beaverkill and its tributaries surrounded by representative trout scenes. It's a beautiful piece of art.
