The Sullivan County PBA raised more than $35,000 for the camp in the last two years.  "The kids are starting to see deputies as real people. A lot of the kids are lower income. They are going to be in housing situations where police may be involved more frequently and they can trust them to come and help them," said Dave Sherman, the camp's director.
